INSPIRING CREATIVE AND POSITIVE THINKING
What - Buildup STEAM is a nonprofit organization committed to making a significant difference in the lives of children overcoming adversity by harnessing the power of LEGO robotics.
Why - We strive to inspire creative and positive thinking by building an environment of encouragement and healing while reducing anxiety and stress for children who are hospitalized.
How - Our LEGO robotics program collaborates with children's hospitals to deliver education, joy, and comfort to young patients facing tough times. By offering STEAM educational experiences right at the bedside, we aim to uplift spirits and inspire creativity. Our initiative has grown to encompass five outstanding hospitals: C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital of Michigan, Comer Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital Colorado, and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. What's truly rewarding is seeing our efforts translate into tangible improvements across crucial metrics such as energy levels, sense of calm, and relief from pain, backed by statistically significant results.
